Kiera Marshall is an artist and writer based in Dundee's cultural quarter. She is curently a Postgraduate student and graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone college of art and design. Kiera exhibited in the 2018 degree show where she received national press coverage. Kiera has taken part in the Creative Scotland Place Partnership project where she resided at the Scottish Sculpture Workshop in Lumsden and exhibited at Perth Museum and Art Gallery. She had also been awarded the Dundee Plus Award for demonstrating outstanding graduate skills.
As a military child, Kiera has lived and studied in various locations within Europe including Germany and Northern Ireland. Her strong family ties to the military are often the inspiration that drives her practice along with her proud Dundonian herritage.
She is curently a student journalist and editor at the award winning Magdelen Magazine and a member of the Student Curatorial team at the Cooper Gallery. Kiera is also involved with the V&A Dundee's Young People's Collective where the team co-curated the daytime programme for the opening event in September 2018 - the largest cultural event in Scotland in the last 25 years.
